Fred S. Bock / Bock & Budinger / Durbin Bottling Works

1904—1906

Fred S. Bock began as a general store in Boyer upon the town’s incorporation in 1901 (Mercantile Agency, 1901). By 1904, Dun & Bradstreet directs to Durbin Bottling Works beneath Bock’s name. He last appears as a bottler in both Boyer and Durbin in early 1906 (Mercantile Agency, Jan. 1906). Oddly enough, the 1905 West Virginia Gazetteer and Business Directory does not list Bock or Durbin Bottling Works in either town.
